On the occasion of the anniversary of the National Day for the accession of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani, the Founder of the State of Qatar, to the rule of the country, Ambassador Mohamed Abdulla Al Dehaimi of the State of Qatar in Seoul and Mrs. Majd Mohammed Al Moadhadi hosted a reception at Hotel Shilla on Dec. 17, 2015.

Many distinguished guests attended from the government, business and various other sectors of the Republic of Korea, who included Vice Minister Bang Moon-kyu of Health and Welfare, ambassadors from many different countries of the world, business leaders and other prominent figures from all walks of life, including the mass communciations media, e.g., Publisher-Chairman Lee Kyung-sik of The Korea Post and Editor Ms. Lynda Youn of The Korea Post Korean-language edition.
Traditional Qatari music was presented by the Almas Band of Qatar where unique Qatari musical instruments were used.

Saad Ahbara of Libya, Mohamed Salim Alharthy of Oman, Yip Wei Kiat of Singapore, Gonzalo Ortiz Diaz-Tortosa of Spain, Mohamed Ali Nafti of Tunisia, Abdulla Khalfan Alromaithi of the United Arab Emirates and Mumba Smyth Kapumpa of Zambia.
