Millennium Seoul Hilton’s acclaimed French restaurant, is pleased to announce the arrival of the 85th Gourmet Circle Dinner, which will take place on Friday, December 9th. The popular gourmet event will bring decadent winter delights to the table for an enriched celebration of fine food and wine.

A celebration of fine dining, the Gourmet Circle Dinner, offered only 4 times a year, is a tradition that started in 1996. With each new season, our skilled chefs, taking inspiration from that season, create a one-of-a-kind, magnificent menu, which is delightfully paired with a fine selection of wines.

A must for the Seoul gourmand and wine connoisseur, the haute cuisine event commences with a champagne reception at 6:30 p.m., featuring NV Laurent Perrier, Brut. The delectable seven-course meal will include: tartare de filet de boeuf served with sherry vinegar and dijon mustard and paired with cremant de bourgogne rouge, lou dumont, a beautiful burgundy wine.

This course will be followed by: oyster and leek soup with dill cream and beluga caviar; wild coral trout fillet with basil mousse and dungeness crab cannelloni, marinated clams and saffron nage; and a tangerine sorbet ravioli. These courses will be brilliantly paired with a Chablis “La Pierrelee”, La Chablisenne.

The main course is wagyu beef tenderloin topped with foie gras terrine, potato dauphine, thyme flavored champignon mushrooms and peppercorn sauce, paired with a Chateau Figeac.

The cheese course will feature a selection of farmhouse French cheeses with pistachio brioche and apple-plum compote, paired with gigondas, M. chapoutier.

To end the meal on a note of sweet perfection, the valrhona chocolate fondant and grand marnier parfait with mini tart tatin and mango mint salad will be accompanied by a glass of Dow’s Port, 10 Years Old.

This phenomenal wining and dining experience is available for only one night, and is priced at KW230,000 per person (includes paired wines). Because the Gourmet Circle Dinners are immensely popular, we kindly advise you to please make your reservations well in advance to avoid missing out on this incredible opportunity.
