Third row, from right Insanga VP Lee Young-sup, RP GM Jung Dae-heung and CMO Kim Hyung-dae of The Korea Post.                                                                                 Working beyond the call of duty?Korean people have a time-honored wise-saying, Naejo (meaning ‘Domestic Support’). This refers to the good deeds done by the wives of high officials of the court of the past dynasties?such as Shin Saimdang. Due to their dedicated support and assistance, their husbands continue to be promoted to higher positions in the court. We saw modern Shin Saimdang during our tour of Insanga Estate on Oct. 15-16, 2014.Left photo shows, from left, Mrs. Marina Quintero Nobre (wife of the ambassador of Portugal), Mrs. Anna Menkveld (wife of the ambassador of the Netherlands) and Mrs. Rosanna Bellolio Pasini (wife of the ambassador of Chile). Their participation in The Korea Post tour definitely was a work, a hard work at that, introducing and promoting the understanding and friendship between their countries and the local Korean people, the ‘real Koreans’ different from the ‘cosmopolitan Koreans’ in Seoul and other big cities. Many Koreans said that they fully deserved a commendation from their government for the hard work they performed for their husband beyond the call of duty?learning Korean culture and spreading the good image of their country to the local government and civic leaders as well as the people. Keep up the good job, three Shim Samindang! For story and photos, please Visit /news/view.html?section=163&category=189&no=676The Korea Post tour of the Hamyang County and Insang Health Promotion Estate, including Bamboo Salt Plant. Seoul Kyungje

Tom was invited to his friend's house for dinner. He found that his buddy called his wife every cute name in the book: honey, darling, sweetheart, and baby, etc. When she was in the kitchen, he leaned over to his friend and said, "I think it's nice you still call your wife all those pet names." "To tell you the truth," his friend said, "I forgot her name about three years ago."

Old DrunkardsTwo old drunkards were in the habit of coming to the bar twice a week to get drunk together. After years of this, one of them died. His old friend came in on Saturday and they told him his pal had died - that so much whiskey had been taken into his blood and saturated it that one night as he blew out the candle his breath caught fire and he was burned to death. The old man promptly called for a Bible and took an oath that from that time forward he would never blow out candle.-----------------------------------------------
