Humor

This humor isfrom one of the former ambassadors in Seoul, who continues to have special regardfor his former and incumbent colleagues in Seoul.

60th HighSchool Reunion

He was a widower and she a widow.

They had known each other for a number of yearsbeing high school classmates and having attended class reunions in the pastwithout fail.

This 60th anniversary of their class, they had awonderful evening, their spirits high, the widower throwing admiring glancesacross the table and the widow smiling coyly back at him.

Finally, he picked up courage to ask her,"Will you marry me?"

After about six seconds of careful consideration, she answered, "Yes,..... yes I will!"

The evening ended on a happy note for the widower. But the next morning he was troubled.

Did she say “Yes” or did she say “No?”

He couldn't remember. Try as he would, he justcould not recall. He went over the conversation of the previous evening, buthis mind was blank.

He remembered asking the question but for the lifeof him he could not recall her response. With fear and trepidation he picked upthe phone and called her.

First, he explained that he couldn't remember aswell as he used to. Then he reviewed the past evening.

As he gained a little more courage he theninquired of her. "When I asked if you would marry me, did you say “Yes” ordid you say “No?”

"Why you silly man, I said ‘Yes. Yes I will.’And I meant it with all my heart."

The widower was delighted. He felt his heart skipa beat.

Then she continued. "And I am so glad youcalled because I couldn't remember who asked me!”

Humor from a kind-hearted formerCentral Asian ambassador:

Who is poor?

A wealthy woman goes toa saree store and tells the boy at the counter, "Bhaiya, show me somecheap sarees. It is my son's marriage and I have to give to my maid."

After sometime, the maidcomes to the saree shop and tells the boy at the counter, "Bhaiya, show mesome expensive sarees. I want to gift my Mistress on her son's marriage."

Poverty is in the mindor in the purse?

Who is rich?

Once, a lady with herfamily was staying in a 3-star hotel for a picnic. She was the mother of a 6-month-oldbaby.

"Can I get 1 cup ofmilk?" asked the lady to the 3-star hotel manager.

"Yes, madam,"he replied.

"But it will cost100 bucks."

"No problem,"said the lady.

While driving back fromhotel, the child was hungry again.

They stopped at a roadside tea stall and took milk from the tea vendor

"How much?” sheasked the tea vendor.

"Madam, we don'tcharge money for kid's milk," the old man said with a smile.

"Let me know if youneed more for the journey."

The lady took one morecup and left.

She wondered,"Who’s richer? The hotel manager or the old tea vendor?”

Sometimes, in the racefor more money, we forget that we are all humans.

Let's help someone inneed, without expecting something in return.

It will make us feelbetter than what money can.

Coffee never knew thatit would taste so nice and sweet, before it met milk and sugar.

We are good asindividuals but become better when we meet and blend with the right people...

Stay connected.

"The world is fullof nice people... If you can't find one... Be one.
