Amorepacific Corporation, a cosmetics conglomerate in South Korea announced the launch of its new skincare product, Sulwhasoo collection on Feb. 24, 2020.
The brand consists of three makeup products, including Perfecting Cushion, Midnight Brightening Cushion, Essential Lip Serum Stick, and 5 promotional products including Sullin Essence and Sullin Eye Cream Special Set. According to the PR manager of Amorepacific, the brand recreates ingredients that have been passed on for thousands of years using modern skin science and looks deeply into the root causes of issues that we see on the surface as a way to provide holistic skin solutions. The cushions are fabricated with bright plum and butterfly embroidery. Sullin Essence has a butterfly embroidery patch, and Sullin Eye Cream special set includes a plum embroidery patch, which can be used for pouches and eco bags.
The PR manager stated that Sulwhasoo is based on its exclusive ingredients that hold Sulwhasoo’s own unique values and oriental medicine technology developed over 50 years. In order to share the wisdom of East Asia for customers worldwide, Amorepacific collaborated with Antoinette Poisson, a French brand specialized in paper making.
The company urged the brand to combine modern skin science and technology with the wisdom of the East that has been recognized over time in history, such as its understanding of oriental medicine ingredients and the theory of the 7-year cycle from Korea’s traditional medical book Donguibogam (Principles and Practice of Eastern Medicine). “Sulwhasoo will grow into an unrivaled beauty brand that captures unique ingredients for skincare.” The manager added.
