According to Arirang News on March 19, South Korea's southeastern city of Daegu reported 87 new coronavirus cases early on Wednesday from five nursing hospitals.

The city said it has confirmed that 74 of the new cases came from a cluster infection at a nursing hospital for seniors.

Among them include 57 patients and 17 staff.

The number of infections may rise too, considering that 117 patients had been staying in the hospital along with 71 members of staff.

The city has been disinfecting the area and checking to see if there are any further cases.

According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, South Korea reported 93 new coronavirus cases as of Wednesday midnight.

It was the fourth straight day that the number of new cases had been below one-hundred.

The total number of confirmed cases in the country is now over 84-hundred.
As of Wednesday, the total death toll stands at least 91.

In the meantime, the country is closely monitoring the increasing number of infected people coming from abroad.

Among 10 new cases confirmed in Seoul this week, five include those who have travelled or studied abroad, including in Europe.
