The majority of the newly infected persons were found to be under 30 in age.
The Itaewon area, which has many clubs and other drinking houses formerly catering to the United States military personnel stationed in the Yongsan area, is now frequented by all types of people from all parts of the world since the majority of the U.S. military installations had moved to the new bases in the Pyeongtaek area south of Seoul.
