Kia Motors' Infotainment System UX (User Experience) has been recognized for its world-class competitiveness by winning the European prestigious Design Award.

Kia Motors announced on Sept. 29 that the dynamic theme applied to the K5 cluster won the Special Mention, a special award in the Interactive User Experience category of the 2021 German Design Award.

The German Design Award, organized by the German Design Committee, is a world-renowned design award that has continued its reputation for about 50 years since 1969. It is also called the "Champion Competition" of the International Design Awards, given that it only reviews and awards works invited by the committee.

The award is especially meaningful in that Kia has proven its world-class infotainment UX competitiveness in Germany, home to European cars such as Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

Regarding the K5 Dynamic Cluster theme, the German Design Award said, "It delivers more emotional information to the driver to provide new enjoyment, while providing comfort and immersion while driving.

It is also impressive to see outstanding cluster technologies such as high-resolution displays that can be reproduced in wide colors and technologies that can apply various motion effects."
