His Excellency Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to Seoul, held a televised interview on the "Special Coverage" program of Abu dhabi Channel on April 8, 2021, on the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the distinguished UAE-Korean diplomatic relations and the celebration of the UAE-Korean Year of Cultural Dialogue.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Korea launched the Emirati-Korean Cultural Dialogue Year under the slogan "Convergence of Cultures" to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Despite the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the two friendly countries are working together to create more opportunities to build together a future-oriented cultural community and expand cultural exchanges across the Arab world, thus contributing to real "cultural convergence" between the friendly Korean and Emirati peoples.
It is worth noting that His Excellency "Kwon Yong Woo", Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Abu Dhabi, participated at the above-mentioned television interview that came within the UAE celebrations of the Year of Cultural Dialogue between the two countries.
During the television episode, the UAE’s efforts towards climate change and the environment were discussed by holding the largest projects in the field of peaceful nuclear energy, the “Barakah Project”, one of the most important projects between the UAE and the Republic of Korea, which works to provide environmentally friendly electricity without any carbon emissions for the next sixty years, which contributes to reducing the phenomenon of climate change.
