Considered a Cultural Island of Korea

On March 12, 2021, Ambassador Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi of the United Arab Emirates in Seoul visited the Nami Island and met with and Vice Governor Kim Sung-Ho of the Gangwon Province and CEO Kyung-Hyuk Minn of the Nami Island, Inc. Ambassador Al Nuaimi gave a collection of books from the UAE.

It is worth noting that Nami Island is located in Gangwon Province, east of the Republic of Korea, and is considered a "Cultural Island" that contains cultural attractions and art galleries, as well as one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.

This visit is expected to contribute to enhancing cultural and tourism exchanges between Korea and the UAE, which have special strategic partnership relations in various fields.
