A New Partnership in the Post-Covid-19 Era

 The UAE Embassy in Seoul participated in 2021 KAIS International Virtual Conference- Korea and the Arab-Islamic World: A New Partnership in the Post-Covid-19 Era, which was organized in cooperation the Emirati-Korean Friendship Society and Korean Association of the Islamic Studies (KAIS) on June 5, 2021.

 The Embassy participated in the aforementioned conference via visual communication technology, with the participation of a group of academics and professors from several prestigious universities of various Arab and African countries from Algeria, the Sultanate of Oman, Nigeria, and representatives from United Arab Emirates University, Sharjah and other large universities in Korea such as Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Myeongji University, and Dongduk Women's University and others.

 This conference coincides with the two countries' celebration of the year of cultural dialogue between the UAE and the Republic of Korea during this year 2021 and supports cultural and academic cooperation between the two countries.

 His Excellency Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to Seoul, confirmed through the conference that the UAE and the Republic of Korea are celebrating this year 2021 the fortieth anniversary of the establishment and establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the year of Emirati-Korean cultural dialogue. These relations have witnessed great progress in recent years, and have been marked by the unlimited support of the wise leadership of our two countries.

 The conference witnessed many participations and sessions on various topics on culture, the future of Arab-Islamic studies in the Republic of Korea, and the development and openness of the Republic of Korea to the Arab and Islamic world. At the end of the conference, all academic participants expressed their hope to continue strengthening the bonds of joint cooperation in the cultural, academic and educational fields with the Republic of Korea and at all levels.
