Saudi Crown Prince Bin Salman visits Korea next week

President Yoon Suk-yeol is expected to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia at the Presidential Office in Yongsan on October 17 this year.
The plan to cooperate with the world's largest construction project 'Neom City' in Saudi Arabia is expected to be on the main agenda for discussion between the two Heads of States.
According to the Presidential Office in Seoul on November 8, Crown Prince bin Salman is expected to visit Seoul after attending the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia on November 15-16 this year.

President Yoon is expected to meet with Crown Prince bin Salman at the Presidential office on November 17. Korean Government leaders, including Prime Minister Han Duk-soo, are also being considered to personally go to the airport to receive Crown Prince bin Salman who, in effect, a state guest of honor.
The two governments are said to be tentatively confirming the schedule for Crown Prince bin Salman's visit to Korea and coordinating details.
Crown Prince bin Salman, according to reports, is also expected to meet with the leaders of major Korean business conglomerates, including the leaders of Samsung, Hyundai, SK and POSCO.

Crown Prince bin Salman is leading a large project to build a Neom City which is equivalent to the size 44 times that of the Seoul City in the desert region of northwestern Saudi Arabia adjacent to the Red Sea. Saudi Arabia is reported to plan to invest a total of US$500 billion (about 650 trillion won) with the goal of final completion in 2030.
Global construction companies, including Samsung C&T and Hyundai E&C are participating in the bidding.
