The event was attended by the Defense Attachés of 20 Nations accredited in South Korea

On the occasion of the centenary of the Italian Air Force, celebrated on March 28, the Office of the Defense Attaché in South Korea, Col. Nicola Gigante, organized a celebration ceremony on Friday March 31, at the presence of the Ambassador of Italy in Seoul, Federico Failla. 

The celebrations were held at the prestigious showroom of Italy in Seoul, High Street Italia. The event was attended by the Defense Attachés of 20 Nations accredited in South Korea as well as Korean authorities and industry and the representatives of the United Nations Command. 

Colonel Gigante spoke during the event, retracing the history of the Italian Air Force, from its foundation to the role it plays within NATO, and its contribution to international missions. "This important milestone achieved by the Italian Air Force is recognized by South Korea and the international community, as evidenced by the presence at today's event of leading figures from the military and non-military world", Ambassador Federico 
Failla said for the occasion. "We are pleased to have highlighted the history of our Air Force, recalling the commitment and sacrifice of the women and men.
