Shortly after inauguration of new CEO-President Kwon Chung-won

Leaders of the Old Boys’ Club of The Korea Herald media attended a luncheon hosted by Publisher-CEO Kwon Chung-won of the Herald Corp. at the Herald Building in Huam-dong, Seoul on April 12, 2017.
The Herald Corp. publishes The Korea Herald in English and Herald Business in the Korean language. Led by Chairman Jungwook Hong, the Herald Corp. not only publishes the two daily newspapers but also covers a wide range of other business activities in support of the two media organizations.

Attending the meeting from the Club were Chairman Yun Ik-han (former vice president/managing editor of The Korea Herald), former CEOs, managing editors and desk editors, including Publisher-Chairman Lee Kyung-sik of The Korea Post media who was formally the Cultural Editor of The Korea Herald. Prior to the luncheon, the participating former CEOs and editors of the English and Korean-language dailies heard an introduction to the activities and accomplishments of the Herald Corp. provided by CEO Kwon.

Witnessing the remarkable development and growth so far made, the ‘Old Boys’ all seemed to feel proud and happy on the achievements made by their successors.
