Finally, the Korail strikers agreed to come back to work 11 am tomorrow (Dec 31) as a result of match-making lawmakers of the ruling-opposition parties. It came as a result of compromise from both the labor and management.

It is good news to many people in Korea who have wanted to go to the East Coast by train to see the First Sunrise of the New Year of Horse.

However, the biggest winner seems to be President Park Geun-hye who refused to give in but insisted on adhering to the established principle.

With that, she'd also won in her standoff with the notoriously stubborn North Korean regime on the inter-Korean Kaesong Industrial Park.

Now no one is going to meddle with her if the case is in disregard of the fixed principle.
