All expressways across South Korea will be toll-free during next week's Chuseok holiday, officials said Saturday.

The three-day toll-free period is set to begin on Tuesday, a day before South Koreans celebrate Chuseok, the Korean equivalent of Thanksgiving.

Many motorists use expressways to go to their hometowns for ancestral rituals and spend time with their families during Chuseok. This year's Chuseok holiday is 10 days long and includes two national holidays and two weekends. SEO(Yonhap)
