LG Electronics Inc. said Wednesday it has won a consumer award from a local industrial certification agency for providing the best warranty service among home appliance manufacturers.
The tech giant said it was named the best company in the research of the Korean Standard-Service Quality Index (KS-SQI) conducted by the Korean Standards Association for the segment of home-appliance warranty services.

LG Electronics said it has been providing customized warranty services through its call centers and websites, helping consumers receive assistance step by step.
The company said it also adopted a chat-bot service powered by artificial-intelligence technologies, connecting to consumers through smartphones and PCs around-the-clock.
"In order to provide top-notch satisfaction to consumers, LG will continue to develop its distinctive services in line with the evolution of our products," LG Electronics said.
