Ambassador Abdulla Alromaithi of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Seoul hosted a reception at Hotel Shilla in Seoul to celebrate the National Day of the country.

As soon as the guests signed the visitor’s book, each of them was presented with a scarf symbolizing the UAE and a small box of candy as well as a small badge of the country.

There were no formalities, no National Anthems and no speeches.
Instead, there was a photo exhibition both at the lobby and inside the ballroom, which showed various aspects of the UAE, especially the historical and tourist assets of the country.

Among the Korean guests were Minister Moon Hyungpyo of Health and Welfare, Director Dr. Seo Hyo-seok of Pyunkang Korean Medical Hospital and Publisher-Chairman Lee Kyung-sik of The Korea Post. From the international community came many noted businessmen who included

General Manager Bernhard Brender of the Grand Hilton Seoul.
