Presentation on “Calmato EV” in Seoul
"Calmato is not only the first one-ton electric cargo truck but also a cost saving and eco-friendly vehicle," said Director Shin Gun-shik of Planning & Sales at Zeinmotors. "A total of 32 million won of fuel cost can be saved during five years of usage, competitive compared to diesel car.”
Speaking at the presentation session conducted at Financial Investment and Education Center in Seoul on July 22, 2019, Director Shin Gun-shik introduced the specifications of Calmato, the vehicle of the new age.
Calmato is a conversion of the Porter, a cap over truck produced by Korea’s top automaker Hyundai Motors. It is an eco-friendly vehicle, which generates no fine dust, a social issue in Korea.
With the competition for eco-friendly delivery heating up, many expect that electric vehicles will soon expand in the delivery industry as businesses compete over eco-friendly delivery services.
