Lotte World takes an ambitious step towards future theme parksIntroduces the VR type-theme park, “Make a Miracle”

Home to the largest indoor theme park in the world, Lotte World has conducted the 30th Anniversary ceremony at Lotte World Tower on July 12, 2019, introducing a variety of contents under the theme of “Make a Miracle”.

The event was attended by distinguished guests from various segments of Korean society as well as from the international community including Ambassador Mihai Ciopec of Romania, President and CEO Song Yong Dok of Lotte Hotels & Resorts and President Kim Hyung-dae of The Korea Post media.

Crowded with participants, the event was lively and heart touching with many performances. Violin performance conducted by the disabled students seemed to have driven the most attention from the participants deriving standing applause.

With an ambition to combine the virtual reality (VR) and theme parks, Lotte World has introduced the “Miracle Night”, Korea’s largest projection mapping show.

Opened on June 29, the 29-minute show is responsible for the last moments of those who stay until the closing time, making it memorial to draw continuous attraction. All of those who have experienced this “Miracle Night” confessed to having had an unprecedented experience.

Officially opened on 3 April 2017, Lotte World is one of the must-go places when you are in Seoul. There are both indoor (Adventure Park) and outdoor (Magic Island) sections and the biggest attraction of this amusement park lies in the fact that it is geographically located in Seoul, easily accessible via public transportation.

Now, with VR added to what we previously known as “Theme parks”, its size is no more a limitation or frustration to those who had to wait in line for hours to experience a 1-2 minute excitement.
