JB Financial Group launches global fintech cooperation ecosystem with inaugural ‘2025 JB Forum’
Twelve partners from Korea and Southeast Asia gather to strengthen collaboration, supported by AI translation and cross-border networking
JB Financial Group is accelerating its expansion into a global digital finance network, positioning “fintech DNA” as a core strategy for the group’s next growth phase. The group hosted the inaugural “2025 JB Forum” at its Ahurum Campus training center from January 30 to 31, bringing together domestic and international fintech and platform companies to explore new collaboration models.
Rather than functioning merely as a conference, the forum served as the first official milestone showcasing the financial cooperation ecosystem that JB Financial Group has built in partnership with twelve fintech, startup, and platform companies. The event carried the theme “Hello Tomorrow,” highlighting the idea of transforming shared time and experiences into long-term value.
Participating companies included Finda, HANPASS, Webcash Group, Infina (Vietnam), OKXE (Indonesia), MediArc, Encowithus, Treida, KB Visa, AIZEN Global, and AhnLab Blockchain Company, alongside JB Financial Group affiliates such as JB Financial Holdings, Jeonbuk Bank, Kwangju Bank, JB Woori Capital, and JB Investment.
The forum opened with presentations in which each partner company introduced its core services, technology, business model, and ongoing collaboration with JB Financial Group. This was followed by open networking and co-ideation sessions designed to identify new joint business opportunities that could evolve into commercial projects.
A notable aspect of the event was the on-site participation of partner companies from Vietnam and Indonesia. To ensure seamless communication, JB Financial Group implemented a real-time AI translation system, enabling participants to join discussions without language barriers. Several of JB’s foreign employees also supported networking sessions, fostering a multilingual, multicultural collaboration environment.
JB Financial Group Chairman Kim Ki-hong emphasized during his keynote:
“To turn the wave of change into opportunity, we must embed fintech DNA within finance. The JB Forum is designed to become a collaborative ecosystem platform where partners and the group grow together.”
He added that the group will continue to pursue co-creation-based partnerships, particularly in areas such as AI and digital asset finance, while expanding its global network.
James Vuong, CEO of Vietnam-based asset management platform Infina, noted:
“The thoughtful design of the forum and the opportunity to have strategic discussions with Korean fintech firms were highly meaningful. I look forward to developing some of these discussions into real collaborations.”
Finda Co-CEO Lee Hye-min commented: “Through this forum, we could clearly see how rapidly JB’s partner network is expanding. We hope that the next forum will bring even stronger synergy among partners.”
JB Financial Group plans to: △ Strengthen strategic cooperation with fintech and technology companies in Korea and abroad △ Institutionalize the JB Forum as a recurring platform △ Advance business models integrating finance × technology to drive new growth
