The “Nurly Art Exhibition” will welcome visitors in Seoul’s Gangnam district from November 25 to 26. Held on the first and second basement floors of Art Space Y in Gangnam, the show draws attention as an independent exhibition featuring five emerging artists with a refined sensibility and strong experimental spirit.

The exhibition foregrounds an “experimental visual language” rooted in contemporary sensibilities. Each participating artist unfolds their own artistic universe, translating today’s uncertainty, urban rhythm and inner landscapes into diverse media and formats. Set against the backdrop of Gangnam—a district defined by its glamour and speed—the show positions itself as a compact yet sharp independent exhibition that poses questions to the city and its viewers.

The exhibition features five artists: VOONUS, JLN, Suin, Dorothy and Bowang. Moving freely between painting, installation and media-based work, they present pieces imbued with a distinctly modern mood. With a fresh curatorial mix and exhibition structure that are rarely seen in commercial galleries, the show is expected to offer visitors a distinctive and memorable experience.

On November 25 at 6 p.m., the opening day will include a VIP preview on the second basement floor of Art Space Y. Invited guests will be able to meet the artists in person, listen to explanations of the works, and engage in in-depth conversations about the exhibition’s intentions and production process. The event is anticipated to blend a sophisticated spatial design with the raw energy and creative passion of young artists.

According to the organizers, “Our goal is to share, or ‘spread widely,’ how young artists interpret the world in their own language, and to create an opportunity for new perspectives to naturally permeate the city. We hope visitors will directly encounter the vivid voices of contemporary artists who are constantly negotiating between commercial demands and artistic integrity.”

Updates on the exhibition, behind-the-scenes preparation and artist interviews will be shared via Instagram at @nurly_art.platform_korea. For those seeking fresh, contemporary art in the Gangnam area, this two-day show promises to be brief but dense in content.
