On this day, according to media officer Seol Jae-hong of the district office, the '2020 Government's Joint Evaluation' was conducted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security in 17 metropolitan cities and provinces in 2019. It was evaluated based on the indicators for each target of government administration.

Based on the results of the evaluation of Seoul City by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the results of the performance evaluation of 25 autonomous districts in Seoul show that Seongbuk-gu has achieved targets of 33 (64.7%) of 51 quantitative indicators that are subject to evaluation, compared to 57.5% last year. It has gained high results.

In addition, shortly after last year's evaluation, a preparation plan was made for indicators with poor grades, and continuous efforts were made through training and meetings, which resulted in a high score in the evaluation preparation effort.

In particular, Seongbuk-gu is strong in various indicators such as △agricultural products direct transaction performance △providing elderly care services △social economy priority purchase rate △greenhouse gas reduction efforts △granting detailed address △irregular workers' conversion rate to regular ones.

Mayor Lee said, “As a result of proactively pursuing business and doing our best in administrative services for the residents, we were able to receive good results."
