Suncheon City(Mayor Heo Seok) delivered a donation for “Christmas Miracle” on December 25 (Fri) in the conference room of Suncheon City Hall, attended by sponsors and officials.
On this day, ▲ Jogok-dong e-pyeonhansesang developer Jeongwon H&D Co., Ltd. (Representative Rak-ho Lee) 50 million won ▲ Hanyang Sujain Suncheon Park Development Co., Ltd. (Representative Nara Lee) 50 million won ▲ Chorok Umbrella Children's Foundation Suncheon Support Association (Chairman Yongjae Kim) 10 million won ▲ Gyeongdo Search Suncheon Citizens' Movement Headquarters (Standing Representative Sun Pilgrimage) donated 10 million won and donated 120 million won in total.
The donations donated will be delivered to two foreign families each by 60 million won through the Social Welfare Community Chest and the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.
A Nigerian foreign family has been living in Korea for 23 years, and has given birth to all five children in Korea. He learned Korean culture personally and was no different from Koreans, but he was having a hard time living in high school. Suncheon Mayor Heo Seok accidentally met them on her way to work, and she found out that her five siblings were living in trouble with her mother, so she applied.
Another foreign family is a refugee family related to the Egyptian democracy movement, whose husband, wife, and daughter of full-time entered the country in February 2019 and continued their difficult life in a studio in Suncheon, and Park Byung-sik, senior pastor of Suncheon Southern Church, requested help in Suncheon City. Recently, she has been hiring her husband at Maeil Foods, overcoming the immediate difficulties little by little.
Suncheon Mayor Heo Seok said, “I am grateful that the citizens of Suncheon have embraced these two foreign families with such a warm love to the two foreign families who are suffering from cultural differences and high school life. .
The two foreign families said, “I am grateful for the great interest and great sharing in Suncheon City.”
On the other hand, Suncheon City plans to provide various support so that these families can receive continuous protection with the Suncheon Migrant Support Center and Suncheon Southern Church.
