Pernod Ricard Korea has launched the Royal Salute 21YO Richard Quinn Edition, created by a collaboration between two British icons: Royal Salute, a prestige whisky brand and Richard Quinn, a rising star in the British fashion world.
Royal Salute has communicated with new luxury consumers through innovative brand activities, presenting a new brand world in a collaboration with contemporary artists. The bold move of Royal Salute has led to a collaboration with iconic artist and fashion designer Richard Quinn, drawing the attention of fashion and whisky enthusiasts.

British fashion designer Richard Quinn, who has captivated the world with his bold yet elegant and most British yet innovative style, is connected to Royal Salute in several ways. As a designer who received an award from Queen Elizabeth II at the Award for British Design in 2018, Richard Quinn shares several common aspects with Royal Salute, which was created in 1953 to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
The package design of the Royal Salute 21YO Richard Quinn Edition also embodies the symbolism and artistry shared by Royal Salute and Richard Quinn. For this collaboration, Richard Quinn, who often uses flower patterns in fashion collections, designed blue roses, which reflect the wonder and rarity of the brand, and thistles, which symbolize Scotland, the home of Royal Salute. Richard Quinn incorporated these patterns into three dresses and Royal Salute's iconic bottle, expressing a hyper-real and daring beauty.
The blend of this edition has also been created boldly. Inspired by Richard Quinn's intense and vibrant floral pattern designs, Royal Salute's Master Blender Sandy Hyslop created a unique flavor by blending grain whiskies and rare single malts from "lost distillery" including Caperdonich and Imperial Dumbarton. The fruity aromas of apple and peach and the rich tastes of chocolate and ginger are elegantly harmonized, offering a long, smooth finish with enduring floral sweetness.

With the launch of this edition, Royal Salute is unveiling the Edge of Beauty campaign, inviting consumers to the world of hyper-real beauty provided by the two iconic brands. First, the concept of the new edition will be revealed through a digital advertisement, and then the "Edge of Beauty pop-up exhibition" will be held where consumers can experience their innovative collaboration process with their five senses.
The exhibition consisting of four zones will be held at the BOONTHESHOP Cheongdam from January 13 to 15. Each zone presents the entire lineup of Royal Salute, the collaborative journey to the Richard Quinn edition, a collection encapsulating Richard Quinn's vivid and bold design world, and three special dresses made with Royal Salute as a motif. This exhibition will be operated in accordance with the government's quarantine guidelines and requires advance reservations through Naver Reservation.
