"Over the past two years, as a member of the board of directors of the KGCCI, I was able to face many interesting topics in various business fields and exchange inspiration and experiences. Emphasizing the importance of innovation and social responsibility, I will do my best to create a relationship in which Korean and German companies can grow together,” said Chairman Gerrmann in an inaugural speech.

Since 2017, the KGCCI has introduced a system of co-chairpersons of Korea and Germany to more effectively reflect the characteristics of the two countries. Each chairman has a two-year term. As a result, the new chairman will lead the KGCCI jointly with CEO Park Hyun-nam of Deutsche Bank who is also the Korean chairman of KGCCI.
