GCSI established to raise awareness of customer satisfaction management

Nexen Tire (CEO Kang Ho-Chan) announced on July 4 that it had been selected as the No. 1 in the tire sector for 13 consecutive years in the ‘2022 Global Customer Satisfaction Competency Assessment System (GCSI)’ survey hosted by the Global Management Association.
GCSI, which marks its 18th anniversary this year, is a global evaluation system hosted and supervised by the Global Management Association, a research and evaluation institution under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. It was established to raise awareness of customer satisfaction management and to support higher level customer satisfaction management by providing indicators of global industrial competitiveness.
This evaluation was conducted through an online survey method focusing on Seoul and 6 major cities for 3 weeks in April. The effective sample of this survey was about 96,000 people, and the evaluation items consist of customer satisfaction factors, customer values, global capabilities, and loyalty.

In 2015, Nexen Tire launched the industry's first tire rental service, 'Next Level Rental'. Customers using ‘Next Level Rental’ are also provided with the ‘Next Level Check’ service, which allows them to visit a nearby rental store to check tire condition and air pressure regularly.
In addition, in 2020, it launched the industry's first non-face-to-face tire installation service 'Next Level GO'. ‘Next Level GO’ is a premium service in which a tire expert visits a customer’s vehicle with cutting-edge equipment to change tires. The service area is continuously expanding to include metropolitan areas such as Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, as well as metropolitan areas across the country.
In addition, for safe driving, the 'New Luxury Guarantee System', which replaces tires even at the customer's negligence, is being introduced into the high-end brand 'N'Fera' series. ‘Next Level Rental’ also continues to provide premium customer satisfaction services by applying the ‘free warranty system’ that replaces tires for free even in case of damage or premature wear due to consumer negligence among contract customers.
Meanwhile, the 2022 GCSI certification ceremony was held at the Stanford Hotel in Jeju on June 24 with the companies that received the first place in each category gathering.
