SPC Group Chairman Hur Young-in attended the "Choose France" event held by the French government on July 11 (local time).
The SPC Group said on July 12 that the French government has held the event every year since 2018 to promote global companies' investment in the country
French President Emmanuel Macron presided over a welcoming dinner and French government officials, including Prime Minister Elizabeth Borne, attended this year's event.
Executives from more than 250 global companies, including Coca-Cola, Disney and FedEx, also attended.
From the SPC Group, Chairman Hur and CEO of Global Business Hur Jin-soo attended together to discuss local investment plans.
SPC Group acquired French sandwich and salad brand 'Linas' this year. In the future, it plans to increase the number of Paris Baguette stores in France and build a local factory.
