Pulmuone is strengthening eco-friendly management that considers consumers and the environment by applying the ‘best grade for recycling’ package to its flagship beverage products.
Pulmuone Green Juice announced on Oct. 24 that the newly renewed vegetable lactobacillus product package obtained the ‘best grade for recycling’ as a result of the evaluation of the material structure of the packaging material of the Korea Environment Corporation under the Ministry of Environment.
The products that obtained the ‘Best Grade for Recycling’ are ‘Plant Lactobacillus Stomach & Capsule’, ‘Vegetable Lactobacillus Omega & Chia Seed’, ‘Vegetable Lactobacillus Moringa & Milk Thistle’, and ‘Vegetable Lactobacillus Hyal & Collagen’.
Pulmuone Institute of Technology established three sustainable packaging principles: ▲use of eco-friendly certified materials ▲design of eco-friendly recycling technology and ▲reduction of plastic use, and actively promoting sustainable packaging development and product application with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas by 16% (as of 2021) company-wide by 2026. As part of the sustainable package, Pulmuone Green Juice last year renewed all of its green juice products to a package that obtained ‘Excellent Recycling Grade’ and continued to expand the eco-friendly package.
Pulmuone Green Juice PM (Product Manager) Lee Jeong-yoon said, “In order to encourage eco-friendly activities in our daily lives, we applied an eco-friendly package to the four packages of plant lactic acid bacteria products so that they can be easily separated and discharged. In the meantime, as an ESG (Environmental, Social and corporate Governance) leading company, we will further expand eco-friendly packages.”
