Yangyang offers a superb beachside destination just two hours from Seoul with breath-taking natural landscape complementing Ayumm and Capella’s vision of developing a wellness resort in a preserved environment with unobstructed and direct access to the ocean beachfront amidst the natural pine tree groves.

Capella Yang Yang is connected directly to the resort and the beach

Songjeon Beach, where Capella Yang Yang is located, is a clean area that has never been developed before. It can be reached from Gangnam to Yangyang in 1 hour and 30 minutes by using the Seoul-Yang yang Expressway, and both Yangyang IC and Yangyang International Airport are located 5 to 10 minutes away. In addition, the resort and the beach are directly connected, providing a perfect beach life that allows you to walk barefoot from your room to the beach.

Capella has shown different architectural styles and designs based on deep exploration of the natural environment and culture of the region where the resort is located, so expectations are also high what Capella presents.
Architect Thierry Boon and Lee Ki-chul, wellness consultant GOCO Hospitality, lighting designer Andrew Jaques, landscape designer Lee Ho-young and Lee Hae-in, and F&B designer AvroKo will participate in the project to complete the most exotic beach resort.
