Bastille Day, known as France's largest festival, is in memory of the Bastille Day Jail Attack on July 14, 1789 when the French Revolution started. Hence the day is celebrated also as the French Revolution Day or Independence Day.
The congratulatory speech of Ambassador Penone was followed by one by Chairman David-Pierre Jalicon of FKCCI in Korea.
