Today, we celebrate the 19th anniversary of accession to the Throne for His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God bless him. An event fully packed with symbols and profound meanings considered as a unique model of sacred bond between the king and the people, reflected in an ongoing process marked by modernity and a high sense of humanity along with strong ties of permanent allegiance and deep cohesion between the people and the throne.

This highly cherished anniversary also marks a milestone in the achievements made since the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the throne, such as the launching of a number of major development projects in various political, economic, social, environmental, cultural fields and other areas, by ensuring and providing all means and factors for its success.

In addition, His Majesty is keen to secure the path of reform, democratization, modernization, and consolidation of the state of institutions. He is guided by the firm desire to elevate our country to the highest ranks among nations in accordance with a unique development model that aims at achieving the optimum balance between preserving the country's sacred principles, its long-standing spiritual and cultural roots and modernization through values of openness, moderation, tolerance and dialogue.

In this regard, I would like to recall the remarkable number of visits to the Republic of Korea made by multiple Moroccan delegations, at official and unofficial levels, during the current year, with more than 100 members, the most important of which was the official visit of Dr. Saad Dine EL OTMANI, Head of the Moroccan government, who leaded an important delegation including the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Minister of National Education and the Secretary of State in charge of investment.

This high-level visit yielded very positive results to expand and strengthen more aspects of bilateral cooperation. In addition to this, the working visit of Mr. Habib al-Malki, Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives, accompanied by five chairmen of the most representative parliamentary groups, which leaded to the signature of a memorandum of understanding between the two legislative institutions.

Within the context of the dynamic witnessed in the bilateral relations between the two countries, we can notice the continued growth in the influx of Korean tourists to Morocco, the growing trade exchange and the increase of Korean investments in Morocco. A recent example, is the significant investment by the Korean Group, “Hands Corporation,’’ of over 400 million dollars for the construction of an industrial unit specialized in producing aluminum wheel tires. The construction process of this unit is underway since last April.
