‘ART for YOU’ project bridges AI, sound, and design to bring artistic experiences into everyday life
LG Electronics has introduced a new cultural experience that brings technology and art together in one space. The company announced on the 30th that it hosted a talk and live concert on the 29th at the outdoor sculpture garden of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) in Seoul, inviting LG customers and museum members to participate. The event is part of the brand’s ongoing “ART for YOU” campaign, which aims to expand artistic engagement in daily life and strengthen emotional connection with consumers.
The first part of the program centered on the question, “How can AI technology and art inspire and expand one another?”
Speakers included Lee Jin-joon, professor at the KAIST Graduate School of Culture Technology; Lucid Fall, a singer-songwriter and Ph.D. in engineering; Choi Ho-young, team leader at LG Electronics’ AI Research Lab; fashion designer Hannah Shin; and Hong I-ji, curator at MMCA. Each explored how technological innovation influences creative expression and how artistic sensitivity can, in turn, inspire new forms of digital development.
The second half featured a live concert bringing together sound, performance, and digital aesthetics.
Artists SUMIN, KIRARA, and indie electronic band GLEN CHECK took the stage, delivering immersive performances that transformed music into a spatial and sensory experience. The performance was designed not just to be heard, but to be felt—blurring the boundary between concert and art installation.
LG also curated product experience zones on-site, where visitors could interact with devices such as StandbyME Go, Aero Furniture, gram Pro, and tiiun mini. The setups allowed guests to enjoy music, rest, and hands-on product engagement seamlessly, reinforcing the brand’s message of integrating technology with lifestyle and creativity.
Jung Su-jin, Head of Brand Communication at LG Electronics Korea, said,
“Art and technology are deeply connected. Technology draws inspiration from art, and art is expanded through technology. We will continue to create brand experiences that allow customers to encounter art naturally in their daily lives.”
The event has been recognized as a meaningful example of how tech-driven brands can engage the public in cultural spaces and foster new ways of experiencing creativity.
