A multi-ministry Hallyu expo supporting exports of Korean cultural products and related industries will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on a record scale.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on November 14 that it will host the 2025 K-Expo UAE in Dubai from November 15 to 18, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

Since its launch in 2022, the K-Expo has been a comprehensive Hallyu event supporting joint exports of K-content, food and agricultural products, cosmetics, and other related industries, with participation from multiple government agencies. Previously, it was held in countries including Vietnam, Thailand, France, Canada, and Spain, and this year marks its first edition in the Middle East.

The 2025 expo will feature 226 companies across industries such as content, food, beauty, consumer goods, sports, and publishing—making it the largest edition to date. Activities will include immersive exhibitions linking virtual game spaces with reality, DJ performances combining audio technology and character content, and events blending broadcast content with Korean cuisine.

On November 16, K-pop performances will feature Chen, popular in the UAE, multinational girl group Billlie, and Punch, known for singing several drama theme songs.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to hold next year’s K-Expo in Los Angeles, USA, one of the host cities for the North and Central American World Cup.
