SEOUL, Nov. 30, 2015--Koreans say that time flies like an arrow released from the bow. And it is already around that time of the year again when you hear Jingle Bell everywhere you go in Seoul.
“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas--especially here at Millennium Seoul Hilton,” says Public Relations Manager Kwak Yong-deok at Millennium Seoul Hilton. “a variety of Christmas events are happening to help spread Christmas spirit and Yuletide joy to everyone in Seoul!” here are the details:
For the last two decades, every year a grand 10-meter Christmas Tree stands tall in the center of the main lobby to welcome guests to Millennium Seoul Hilton and warm people’s hearts with Christmas cheer. In the Lower Lobby, designers and engineers skilfully recreate a miniature village in the Alps, complete with snow-capped mountains, tunnels, wooden bridges and hot air balloons.
The highlight, of course, for both children and adults who are young at heart, is the Christmas Train, a collection of around 75 exquisitely handcrafted locomotives and railroad cars that will chug their way through the little village.
The spirit of Christmas is also remembered as domestic and international companies are invited to sponsor railroad cars. All proceeds are then distributed to Hyeshimwon Orphanage. The Christmas display will stay up for public viewing until January 17, 2016. Also, don’t forget about our new Candy House, which is also displayed at the lower lobby. This adorable shop will not only feature sweet treats that are perfect for indulging in over the holidays, but also Christmas gift and decoration items. The Candy House will be open until December 26, 2015.
For the guests who wish to make special Christmas memories, Santa Claus will be visiting the Christmas Train and the Candy House at Millennium Seoul Hilton during the Christmas season. The Santa Claus visiting hours are:
Dec. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Dec. 24: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Dec. 25: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
