The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Seoul organized an exhibition entitled “Glimpse of Oman” at the Cheonggyecheon Gwanggyo Gallery in downtown of Seoul from on April 11-17, 2016.
The exhibition was a collection of more than fifty photos that embodied the diversifying nature and environments of the Sultanate of Oman such as mountains, caves, valleys, deserts, beautiful beaches, majestic castles, tourists facilities, lineaments of variety of cultural and heritage and glimpses of the modern renaissance.
This exhibition was part of the annual program “Welcome to Oman” which was organized by the Embassy of Oman to introduce the Omani history, culture, civilization and the modern renaissance, which aimed to promote tourism in the Sultanate of Oman and strengthen the cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Korea.
The idea of hosting the exhibition at the open Gallery of Cheonggyecheon was to allow the public to learn more about the Sultanate of Oman.
