"Born Startraining Center (Born Star) is the undisputed No. 1 entertainment education company leading K-Culture," said CEO Hong Ki-sung.
In an interview with The Korea Post Media, which has published English and Korean media for 38 years since 1985, Hong, CEO of Born Startraining Center, said, "Founded in 2008, Born Star actively fosters future global entertainment and art professionals who will lead K-Culture in the world."

"We are currently operating training centers in four countries (China, Indonesia, Myanmar, and the United States (New York)), through business agreements with local executives. We will begin interior work at the entertainment training center in Yokohama, Japan in April this year for official opening in June."
CEO Hong said, "Born Star also plans to enter Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, and Singapore within a few years at the earliest."
The followings are excerpts from an interview with CEO Hong Ki-sung of Born Startraining Center.

Question: Please introduce yourself and the background of the birth of Born Startrainig Center.
Answer:
Born in 2008 as a coalition of agencies, broadcasters, university professors, and directors, Born Star currently operates 15 training centers in Korea and five overseas countries.
Born Star directly operating centers in Korea include Gangnam Headquarters, Mokdong Campus, Incheon Campus, Guri Namyangju Campus, Suyu Gangbuk Campus, Anyang Pyeongchon Campus, and Songpa Jamsil Campus.
Domestic franchises of Born Star are located at Bundang Campus, Suwon Campus, Ulsan Campus, Daegu Campus, Daejeon Campus, Uijeongbu Campus, Ilsan Campus.
Overseas franchises of Born Star are located at Hangzhou Campus in China, New York Campus in the United States, Tokyo Campus in Japan, Myanmar Campus, and Indonesia Campus.
Born Star also operates the Korea Entertainment Arts School. Born Star was also ranked No. 1 acting academy, No. 1 in terms of visiting rate, No. 1 in the number of students, and No. 1 hagwon (private educational academy).
Born Star conducts more than 70 auditions annually in a coalition of more than 200 domestic agencies, including Hive, Ador, SM Entertainment, YG, JYP Entertainment, Yue Hua Entertainment, and Namooactors.

Q: What is Born Star CEO's management philosophy?
A:

Q: Would you tell about K-Culture's global status?
A: With K-POP, K-drama, and K-movie, Korea, a small Asian country, has a great influence on culture and arts around the world. We've only talked about the results so far, but there's one thing we're forgetting.
How much efforts they've made to achieve that, how much efforts they've made, and whether there's been hidden help to make their efforts more effective, we're going to do that process now, and we're going to implement a plan for the future.

Q: What are the features of Born Star that are differentiated in the same industry?
A:
Born Star is a star-making academy, and a number of stars have made their debut by learning and challenging through us, including Kara, Mamamoo, Infinite, Jin Se-yeon, I.O.I.'s Kim So-hye, Gugudan's Kim Na-young, Bonus Baby, Hello Venus, Ulala Session, Girl's Day, and recently, Lee Do-hyun of The Glory, the Netflix original series.
We continue to strive to provide opportunities to anyone with dreams, possibilities, and confidence and to create Hallyu stars that grow further through proper basic education. Even now, many stars are preparing for their debut through Born Star. It's hard to be a star, but it's possible through Born Star.

Q: Please tell me which countries you have plans to enter in the future and comment on the specific plans.
A:
We are currently operating training centers in China, Indonesia, Myanmar, and the U.S. (New York) through business agreements with local executives, and will begin interior work of the entertainment training center in Yokohama, Japan in April and officially open it in June.
Born Star is also planning to enter Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, and Singapore within a few years at the earliest.

Q: Born Star has recruited actress Lee So-yoon, a former Miss Korea, as the company’s head of promotional marketing. Please tell us about your future plans as an AD marketing manager.
A:
I'm in charge of promoting the best acting, vocal, and dance academy in Korea.
Born Star is actively advancing into the world with opening of its branches in many countries and is trying to sign more agreements with business leaders in foreign countries in the future.
In particular, Born Star operates senior classes in which many seniors who are working in the model, advertising, and film industries at present and others who are preparing for a second life with movies and advertisements using their hobbies and specialties are participating. 
We will actively staging internal and external promotion activities at the Born Star Training Center, which provides many audition opportunities, solid classes, fun and competent teachers, and top-notch facilities so that you can fully show off your infinite talents.
As part of efforts to advance into foreign countries, we would like to expand opportunities to interact with the wives of foreign ambassadors in Korea by wearing Korean traditional hanbok clothes or traditional foreign clothes.
