Establishing an industry-academia cooperation system to foster excellent human resources and enhance R&D performance

GC Green Cross announced on the 31st that it signed a business agreement with Sungkyunkwan University (hereinafter referred to as "Sungkyunkwan") on the 30th to foster human resources and academic exchanges.

The signing ceremony was held at the 2nd Engineering Building of Sungkyunkwan University's Natural Science Campus, attended by Kwon Dae-hyuk, dean of Sungkyunkwan University's College of Biotechnology, and Kim Yong-woon, head of GC Green Cross' Talent Management Office.

With this agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate with each other to foster excellent human resources and improve R&D performance through human resource exchanges, seamless utilization of technical information, and training of professional talents.

The main contents of the MOU include ▲ joint research and technology cooperation related to biomedicine ▲ joint implementation of research and development projects ▲ joint training and internships to foster experts ▲ mutual exchanges such as seminars, research presentations, and invited lectures ▲ and educational support for the convergence track to foster innovative talents in the next generation biohealth industry.

"Through this agreement, we will be able to contribute to securing the competitiveness of the pharmaceutical bio industry by strengthening the industry-academia cooperation system," said Kim Yong-woon, head of the GC Green Cross Talent Management Office. "GC Green Cross will support various talent development programs to foster innovative talents for the next generation bio health industry, including recruitment linkage programs."

Kwon Dae-hyuk, Dean of Sungkyunkwan University's College of Biotechnology, said, "Through cooperation with GC Green Scholarship, we will create an ecosystem for industry-academia innovation and performance diffusion to foster core talents for bio creative leaders and build high-quality educational infrastructure."
