Pernod Ricard Korea has announced that the first global unveiling event of the bold and captivating second fashion collection, "Royal Salute 21-Year-Old Richard Quinn Edition 2," born from a collaboration between the prestige whisky "Royal Salute" and the acclaimed British fashion designer “Richard Quinn” will take place in South Korea for the first time.

The global launch event will be held at "Noudit Ikseon," located in Seoul's Jongno-gu, for two days starting on the 4th of October. During the media event on the 4th, designer Richard Quinn himself will be present to share his thoughts on this collaboration and unveil specially crafted bespoke dresses.

Frantz Hotton, CEO of Pernod Ricard Korea, Miguel Pascual, Marketing Director, and Mathieu Deslandes, Global Marketing Director of Royal Salute, will also attend to introduce the new product and shed light on why South Korea was chosen as the global debut country. Additionally, until the 5th, numerous domestic and international VIPs including celebrities, top model Hyejin Han and actor Jaewook Kim will participate in an event celebrating the first global launch in Korea.

Royal Salute has consistently introduced its unique prestige whisky, emphasizing blending techniques and artisanal craftsmanship through creative and innovative brand activities. The fashion collection produced in collaboration with Richard Quinn represents a groundbreaking fusion of "whisky" and "fashion," two entirely different categories, yet it delivers exceptional results in each field. The first collaboration already garnered significant consumer attention in the South Korean market, and with its popularity, the decision to launch the second collaboration as the world's first in South Korea is a testament to the high level of consumer interest in the domestic whisky market.

The design of 'Royal Salute 21-Year Richard Quinn Edition 2' is always as groundbreaking and enchanting. It is being released in two versions in Korea, 'Orange Rose,' featuring Richard Quinn's signature rose petal and white droplet pattern on a black bottle, and 'Daisy,' with a beautiful daisy flower pattern on a forest green background.

The blending process for this edition is equally exceptional. Royal Salute Master Blender, Sandy Hyslop, opened the doors of warehouse of Strathisla in Speyside, Scotland to Richard Quinn to select the finest malts and grain whiskies aged for a minimum of 21 years from distilleries including Braeval, Strathisla, and Caperdonich. The result is a bespoke blend with artistic completeness and rich flavor. It boasts a harmonious balance of rich fruity notes, including mango, banana, along with the sweetness of and strawberry jam, pear, and peach, all enhanced by subtle spiciness and smokiness.

His designs are characterized by its emotional depth, boldness, and forward-thinking aesthetics, making him a beloved figure among global celebrities and fashion enthusiasts. In 2018, he received an award from Queen Elizabeth II herself at the 'British Design Awards,' a tribute that draws parallels to the brand story of Royal Salute, which was born in 1953 in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation.
