Five performers visited Korea for the event.

A collaborative concert between Korea and Azerbaijan, organised by the Embassy of Azerbaijan and the International JCC ART Centre, and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Council for International Cultural Exchange, was held at the JCC Art Centre Concert Hall.

 Five performers visited Korea for the event.

The performances included traditional Azerbaijani instruments and collaborative performances with Korean pianist Kwon Ki-jin. A total of 12 songs were performed, including Azerbaijan, My Azerbaijan, Shusha's mountains, carnation, Rondoletto, Bayati-Shiraz, Blond bride, Meditation, Arirang, etc.

 The performers were SAHIB PASHZADED on the tar, SABINA ARABLI on the mugam, RUSTAM MUSLUMOV on the tar, TOGHRUL ASADULLAYEV on the kamancha and Kamran KARIMO on the nara.

Music exchange between Azerbaijani traditional musicians and Korean classical musicians

After the performance, all the musicians were applauded and photographed, and a bunch of plaques were presented.

Artists from both countries performed together under the auspices of the International Mugham centre, which promotes, preserves and popularises the traditional Azerbaijani music genre Mugham internationally.
