The meeting was organized to introduce Korea's agricultural technology advancements and research projects to foreigners and to enhance their understanding of the agency that leads them.
They visited the Agricultural Science Center to learn about the history and present of Korean agriculture, cases of scientific farming dissemination, and toured the Agricultural Genetic Resource Center, high-tech digital greenhouse, and the Horticultural Specialty Science Center.
At the Horticultural Specialty Science Center, they received explanations on developed varieties and had a chance to make a terrarium (a glass jar decorated with soil and pet plants).

Yoon Jong-cheol, deputy director general of the Nonghyun Agricultural Research Center, said, "We will continue to actively communicate with foreign journalists by organizing events to gather their diverse opinions."
