Ambassador Amit Kumar of the Republic of India in Seoul had a meeting with President Ju Hyeon of the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET) on Feb. 22, 2024, and discussed with him on collaboration opportunities with Korea in emerging areas such as supply chain resilience, advanced manufacturing, energy transition, digital transformation, and human resource mobility.

According to Media Liaison Officer Sharad Chandra Tripathi at the Embassy of India in Seoul, Ambassador Kumar also met with Dr. Park Cheol Hee, Chancellor of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA).

They discussed the significant role played by think-tanks and research institutes of India and ROK in promoting awareness about immense opportunities in their bilateral relations.

Ambassador Kumar also had an insightful meeting with Chairman Yoon Hee-Sung of the Korea EXIM Bank and discussed their long-standing fruitful association with India through project-financing and inter-bank credit lines.

They also discussed exciting potential for collaboration on projects in infrastructure, renewable energy and digital technology sectors.
