Director General at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan

Chairman Lee Kyung-sik of The Korea Post media hosted a luncheon at the Il Ponte Italian Restaurant at the Millennium Seoul Hilton on July 8, 2017 in honor of the visiting ranking official of the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Director General Abror D. Fatkhullaev of the Department of Cooperation with Asia and Pacific Region Countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
Attending the luncheon, besides Director Fatkhullaev, were Ambassador Vitali Fen, Secretary Sador Sadikov, an interpreter from the Uzbek Embassy and Reporter/Photographer Ms. Kim Sua of The Korea Post media.

Director General Fatkhullaev came to Korea for the purpose of further promoting the close ties of cooperation with Korea in the economic and various other areas.
Director Gene4ral Fatkhullaev introduced how Uzbekistan was continuously developing in all spheres in the country under President Shavkat Mirzioyevwho succeeded the late President Islam Karimov who died a year ago due to old age.
Ambassador Fan was helping Director General Fatkhullaev successfully fulfill his mission in Korea through the use of a vast human friendship network he had formed in Korea with many leading figures in the government, business world and various other segments of Korean society formed during his nearly 18 years of service in Korea as Uzbek ambassador to Korea.


A second-generation Korean descent in Uzbekistan, Ambassador Fen speaks the Korean language like his mother tongue and Russian as well as Uzbek language.
