Millennium Seoul Hilton is pleased to announce that Mr. Bernd Butz has joined as its Director of Culinary. Chef Butz’s will oversee all of the hotels’ culinary operations, which include five specialty restaurants, an English pub, Gourmet deli, in-room dining and one of the city’s most comprehensive wedding and banqueting venues.
Since his first assignment as a restaurant pastry chef in his native Germany, his culinary journey has spanned the globe to include prestigious assignments in France, Switzerland, China, Thailand and Korea.
Prior to joining Millennium Seoul Hilton, Mr. Butz served as Executive Chef at the Shangri-La Beijing, Ayana Resort and Spa Bali, Shangri-La Quingdao, Shangri-La Barr Jissah Resort & Spa and Sheraton Amman. In addition he has gained invaluable experience overseeing the massive restaurant services of two major cruise liners.
