The Jeonju International Film Festival (Jeonju IFF) has opened the entries for the 25th edition of the International Competition on Nov. 8, 2023. The entry form will be accepted from the starting date until Jan. 3, 2024 by17:00 hours (KST).
The Jeonju IFF places no limitations on genre for the International Competition, which covers a range of genres, from narrative to documentary, experimental, and animation.
However, entry must be completed after January 2023 and require an Asian premiere, which means that the film should not have been screened in any Asian country. (In the case of films produced in Asian countries, exemption is only granted if they have not been shown in any Asian country other than their country of origin.)
Submissions can be submitted online via the JEONJU IFF entry website (https://entry.jeonjufest.kr/en/) free of charge. The finalists will be announced following internal discussions and preliminary review.

Eligibility:
Pre-condition: The first or second feature-length film of the director(s)
Date of completion: After January 2023
Running time (including credits): Longer than 40-minute length
Premiere status: At least Asian premiere (In the case of films produced in Asian countries, exemption is only granted if they have not been shown in any Asian country other than their country of origin.)

Final selections of International Competition will be contacted individually.
