On 7 November, a business delegation from Gujarat, India, visited Korea on the 36th floor of Lotte Hotel.

The visit was organised at the invitation of the Ambassador Amit Kumar of India Embassy to Korea and the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Ambassador of India Amit Kumar remarks speech : “ I would like to thank the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea for their support in organizing this roadshow to promote the Vibrant Gujarat, 2024. ICCK has been an important partner for the Embassy on several of our outreach efforts in bringing Indian and Korean business together. This year is a special milestone as the two countries are celebrating 50years of our diplomatic relation this year. Gujarat International Financial Tec-City (GIFT CITY) in Ahmedabad is the country’s first International Financial Service centre (IFSC). Iam certain that today’s deliberations will advance our understanding of shared prospects for growth and collaboration between Gujarat and Korea.

The Korean side was represented by the KOTRA Asia Investment Development Team and Korean mid-sized companies.

The Deputy Mayor of Gujarat and representatives from Indian defence companies, industrial banks and urban development teams presented Gujarat's development plans.

KOTRA Korea has been providing information support and solving problems for Korean companies to enter into economic cooperation with Gujarat.

Many small and medium-sized Korean companies are planning to enter India, and a negotiating table was set up.

One SME was represented by Mr Han Young-seop of DAEYOUNG CORPORATION. SEAH Solution Automation co..LTD Bong Kie Chung of CEO was presented and share with information and asked questions about policy.

Dr Kwon Won-hyun, an engineer and CEO of Changlim ENG, is planning to enter India and is reviewing the details.

Tae-hwan Kim, CEO of Seorabal Housing, announced plans to build and distribute wooden building House in India.

The Summit on 10 January 2024 will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Narendra Modi The Vibrant Gujarat version of the Global Summit will bring together Heads of Government, key national and international business leaders, policymakers, economists, multilateral organisations, academics and innovators from around the world.

The Gujarat International Financial Tech City, the Doleera Special Investment Area, the world's largest solar-wind hybrid renewable energy project, the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Expressway and the Narendra Modi Stadium are tangible examples of the state-of-the-art infrastructure being developed in the state.

They offer a truly gigantic doorway to the future. Some of the Rendmark projects are already operational, while several others are in the development stage.
