Belarusian diplomatic service has traveled since its foundation
Belarus Embassy in Seoul celebrated 105th Anniversary of Diplomatic Service at Belarusian embassy in Seoul on March 25, 2024.
The special event dedicated to the 105th Anniversary of the founding of the modern Belarusian Diplomatic Service was attended by guests from the foreign diplomatic corps, representatives of media and cultural organizations.,
The event began with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of terrorist attack occured in 'Crocus City Hall' in Moscow on March 22nd, 2024.
H.E. Andrew Chernetsky ,Belarusian ambassador to Korea, in his welcoming speech noted the great path that the Belarusian diplomatic service has traveled since its foundation, the important role of diplomacy in today's geopolitical conditions, also referred to the history of Belarus–Korea diplomatic relations, as well as stressed the importance of dialogue between all countries and joint efforts in solving global challenges of our time.
During the presentation for about 30 miniutes, guests were briefed shortly on the most significant steps in the development of the diplomatic service of Belarus, the successes and achievements of Belarusian diplomats on the world stage and via the platforms of international organizations. There was also an exhibition of photos with explanation on “105 years of the modern Belarusian Diplomatic service” and the guests were led to enjoy traditional Belarusian snacks.
