Reaffirming S. Korea-Myanmar partnership and defense cooperation
On March 28, the 80th Anniversary of Myanmar Armed Forces Day was held at The Riverside Hotel in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by Myanmar Ambassador to Korea, Thant Sin, Myanmar Defense Attaché, Brigadier General Wint Thu, ambassadors and military officials from various countries, as well as the Chairman of World Economy, Culture & Sports Exchange Association (WECS) Lee Gun-sik and other distinguished guests.
The event aimed to highlight the Myanmar military’s dedication to peace and to further strengthen the military and political ties between South Korea and Myanmar. The Myanmar military reaffirmed its commitment to fostering cooperation and continuous exchanges between the two nations.
Notably, a certificate of appreciation was awarded to Korean business leaders who contributed to the successful organization of the event, acknowledging their efforts in enhancing bilateral cooperation.
The 80th Anniversary of Myanmar Armed Forces Day served as a significant opportunity to solidify the friendship between the two nations and reaffirm the importance of mutual cooperation.
